[Ah yes, the part of this mess he'd been trying to avoid thinking about! Good thing Junpei is walking ahead of him - he'll miss the whiplike flash of anger that strikes across his face, unless he deigns to look back.]
...Well. I have a clue voucher I'll be using at the first opportunity. I want to leave as little up to chance as possible.
There's all three, at least - though I don't doubt we'll have many more.
[This ship is good people... And also, they're all dumb and have no confidence in their ability to solve things without hints, it's fine.]
Judging by how many trails of blood there were, I'd say that's probably true. It looks like the final blow may have been delivered in the clinic... Hizamaru and I didn't get the chance to go through the drawers or cabinets there, so we'll want to go back tomorrow. He found a blade there, though - the colorful one.
Too bad we're limited that way. We just have to be strategic about it.
[But there's a hum as he thinks about the idea that the clinic is where Shiraishi might've died, wondering about the chain of events.] The colorful blade is the one I think he had yesterday. It's not a bad idea to look again. I want to know if we can get a better idea how the blood trails ended up looking the way they did. Or how they strung his body up in a tree.
Mm, right - I heard he, ah... fell onto Higekiri? [Gross.] I'm curious about those trails myself, though. The ones that look like some sort of staggered straight lines, right? They were all over the ship. I'm assuming it was after Shiraishi was killed...
But the fact that they're flat is what gets me. Like something was dragged. Couldn't have been the body because the trails weren't big enough. [He shakes his head.] The body fell on Higekiri and I kinda felt bad, but...that wasn't supposed to happen anyway. He just fell.
I thought about that. Like a crutch or something, but it wouldn't make those kind of lines. All we can do now is wait to see all of the evidence. Maybe then it'll make sense.

I don't know what happened, but I'm pretty sure he tried to defend himself, at least. He had a switchblade the last time I saw him.
