Occasionally... There are shots of mangled corpses. Horrible, grisly deaths that nobody pays attention to. But it's fine, isn't it? Everyone looks happy. Everyone looks pleased. Sex is now a social activity used to strengthen bonds, openly and without a hint of shame, and the world has never been better.
[Well. He's silent and he's watching and haha this is a lot. This is great! Not. He's watching the sex and the corpses like it's just another crime scenes, eyes critically analyzing everything in front of him even if he interrupts with an occasional cough. [There's a sharp edge beneath the words that don't really speak of defeatism though, so much as irritation. If anything, all of this is just making him Mad, not despondent.]
But regardless, we'll tell everyone so at least it's all out in the open, and we can make collective decisions from there.
