In any case, I'm hoping to see something within the week. If we aim to attract a lower-level spirit or demon, we might even be able to test some of them out on the spot. If I'm able to create something that can deflect a low-level entity, we should be able to detect or summon it without it actually being able to physically reach us. Like a line they can't cross, you know?

If you can, try to see if you can take the video camera out of the recording studio and set it up when you start the summoning. Record anything you get and then we can have a record to review and playback to try other methods. Plus if there's a barrier they can't wreck the footage.
Ah, that's a good idea. ...Ideally though, I'd like to have at least one other person with me. Backup in case something goes horrifically wrong, for one - and I'd also like to try out as many of the things I've been working on as I can at once.
