Mm, indeed. I certainly have done my time waiting [ all 73 years of it ] for missions but it is always a struggle when we reach the hours before. I only hope there are no other surprises today.

But it's certainly worth a reprieve with this new additional information. [ does he sound tired? he's very tired. WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT FROM THEM, CURSED DEMON SHIP!!! ] I worry for what may happen.

I'm a little worried, too. We don't know what'll happen next, or what demon might try to throw off our plan. But that's always been the problem with anything we're doing here.

...you heard the options. What do you think you really want to do?

Mm, exactly. We can only prepare as we can and hope for the best butt [ there’s just so many unknowns ]

I believe we will not be leaving anyone behind [ because hige will actually murder them ] Nor do I believe it beneficial. Spreading them outwards feels like a terrible choice but I’m also sure it would give us a better chance of preventing this to happen again- and allow us and whatever abilities we’ve been cut off from to have a better chance of destroying them.

That seems to be the consensus but I dunno. I kind of want to see if our friends on the other side really can find another solution for us. We still have a little bit of time...depending on what happens tonight. [If a demon will kill, he means.]

We've still never really found out why we're cut off from our own abilities, have we?

But yes... that's certainly something I've thought about. I wonder if it was to handicap us.

I don't doubt it but I still want to know how it was done. That's changing the biology of, like, most of us.

We still don't really know what they did to us while we were knocked out before waking up here either.

Mm, indeed. And without any physical signs of damage either... It's truly hard to say.

Usually when we're kidnapped to places like this, something's strapped on to us or we're told something's been implanted into us. Guess I'm still waiting for that moment, too.

It's very possible. With no visible damage, one could not say.

I'm going to keep asking around and see if anyone else may have noticed a change. There's no visible damage to us, but maybe there's something differently with someone else.

[WELL. Okay true, but we don't talk about that! But yeah, he was thinking of Muzet as well.]

Pretty sure it's just Maou, Muzet and Catra that really stand out in that case...unless you count Zero's eye. Could be worth keeping an eye on those people in particular.

Yes... I agree. Between them all, certainly there must be something we are missing.

[How does he expect to keep an eye on them when they're dead? Well, that's someone else's problem. He has a lot of questions about what happens over there, but...you know.]

You'd think we'd figure it out sooner than now but this place hasn't been exactly forthcoming with information. And the demons we have dealt with like to fuck with us anyway. So that's even less help.

I fear it's been far too easy for them to withhold vital information. There is much we don't know and the methods of gaining it becomes harder as time passes

Makes you wonder...are they doing it on purpose? Or is there something stopping them, too, like our hosts? I've never really known how alike or different the situations are.

It's certainly something to question. Though, I certainly do not like these unknown rules they play by.

You haven't talked to the demons when we catch them, have you? I was wondering if maybe they've said anything different.

I did not deign to give them the satisfaction of continuing their games.

They took far too much pleasure in twisting words until one could no longer find the truth in the words.

...it's funny. I talked to Zero on Monday and she seemed to think there was some truth that came from some of the demons she slept with. I wasn't going to rule it out, but I had a few questions of my own based on what she told me.

There's a chance the ritual's a trap, but we can't really say one way or another until Saturday. Kind of a rough spot to put us in, isn't it?

Did she…? How curious. I suppose they would be more open to revealing secrets with more privacy.

But it’s very possible. It’s rather damned either way but without any other option…….. We can only do what is available to us.

Unless it was just to fuck with us. That's where we're getting stuck. [Ugh.]

What's available now is waiting until tomorrow and seeing if someone's dead. If they are, we have an investigation and we still have time to decide on the ritual itself. Any other option? It's lacking.

If only there was a way to break this cycle. While we all know what to expect week after week we certainly have no had any chance of finding a way to circumvent it.
