[Part of it is because of the ship's effect and he knows that, but part of it is also his own attraction to Dick in general. He's stopped trying to rein himself in but he's being exceptionally nice with the feathers especially when he feels that shudder. There's something murmured that sounds a lot like "pretty bird" against Dick's mouth, tail swishing behind him and completely ignored while he turns his head directly into Dick's hand. There's a low but loud sort of whimper when Dick touches one of his ears, fingers digging harder into his shoulder as he rolls his hips and tries to decide what to do.
Dick has wings which means having him on his back probably isn't great? He could deal with Dick riding him again, but at the same time he's stuck on the idea of taking control. But instead of, like, saying any of this he settles on sucking at his lip before pulling away to bite sharply at the juncture between his neck and shoulder, not moving far enough that Dick has to stop petting him.]
