[His eyes are squinting, the pounding in his head worsened by the alcohol and by the sudden movements as they enter Tamamo's room. She can drag him by the collar and when the door closes and he hears that demand, his vision clears suddenly. ]

[She straight up laughs, a series of 'oh ho hos' that echo in the room. Her grip has not lessened.]

She comes back with water though, and by this point he's sitting upright with his head in his hand. Without a shirt it's also easy to see he's pretty thin and lithe, not exactly muscular and maybe a few stray marks from previous incidents in his life. ...that bad, huh? [He almost sounds amused like he didn't even know it was noticeable. But he'll take the glass with his free hand and hold onto it around the top.]

...sorry. [He doesn't apologize often, but yeah he can imagine the onslaught of scents isn't great. He feels her sit on the bed but he looks at the floor. But because she's mentioned it, he'll also sip the glass of water to dilute the whiskey on his breath.]

Not yet. I tried going back and the door was locked up again. Getting in the way we came wasn't working, so...I left. [And now it's open to everyone on Monday but whatever.]
