[Oh. Don't like that. He blinks as the fist hits his shoulder. Frowns at the stench of alcohol. Frowns even harder at how freaked out he looks and sounds. It's hard to interpret what he means by that, but after a beat, he steps to the side.]
Do you want to, uh... Come in? [Would that help? A mystery.] Polly's not here.
[As far as Junpei's concerned, this is how the world works right now. There are things known as Junpei problems. There are things known as Junpei and Akane problems. And then there are C-Team problems that involve Carlos. This has gone from a Junpei problem to a C-Team problem, which means there's a nod and he pushes on Carlos's arm a little. Let him in, please.
Once he's inside and shuts the door, he leans against it heavily and stares at Carlos for a while. He has to kind of crane his head back, but his gaze is unblinking as he thinks to himself.]
Tell me...tell me that you're the right Carlos. [What in the fuck.] You're not some other Carlos who was waiting here.
[He moves aside easily, letting Junpei walk into his room before closing the door behind them. Junpei's free to do as he likes, but the smell of alcohol has Carlos worried enough that he steps over to the sink in order to grab a glass of water for him. He's halfway through filling a cup when Junpei speaks up, and that's... Well. That sure isn't good, huh?
Carefully, stepping away from the kitchenette:]
Of course I'm the right Carlos. [What in the fuck, indeed!!] I came from the same history as you.
[If Junpei will allow it, he's just going to take his hand and gently shove the cup at him. Please drink some water. He's high-key worried.]
[He wants to say "are you sure" but...well. If he calms down for a second he knows it's true. He takes the water but he doesn't drink it, fingers gripping the glass a little tight. He's not drunk enough to be completely useless or incapable, but he finds himself staring into space as he tries to answer.]
We found a room. [He doesn't even elaborate yet because it's Carlos. He should know this means something really fucked up happened. But he'll use his free hand and dig into his pocket, pulling out a few crumpled sticky notes. The one he hands Carlos though is the one that says CAMERA in his handwriting.

What brought this on, Junpei?

A petulant stare...go on. Ask him.]
