[He shakes his head, rubbing the back of his neck.]

Sorry. [Max disappointment! He's so weary.] All we got was some book after everything.

[Fun times in the panthouse...]

Ah, those two. How did everything turn out?

Not in the slightest. It was written in a language none of us knew. I'm hoping someone else might recognize it.

[So. That's a bust!]

Photos? [And... Ah. Off topic, but since Junpei's getting the mugs--] You take your coffee with anything?

[Let him fetch that, at least.]

[Well. Let's be real, Carlos has a tendency to somehow expect the opposite of reality from Junpei and Akane? So he does make a small sound of surprise as he goes to fetch the milk and sugar.]

Heh, you and Akane keep surprising me.

[Which is to say, he totally expected Junpei to take his coffee black... It's clear from his tone that he doesn't think it's a bad thing, though. Either way--]

... Could be. Do you have the piece of paper with you? I don't have the book.

[Sliding over the milk and sugar, while taking Junpei's items in return. The chalk gets a curious look as he turns it over.]

You know, the shape reminds me of a planchette.

[It's a triangle! That's about it. As for the note, well...]

This is definitely the same language though. What do you think it could be for?
