Yeah, but we're fortunate they keep moving. I've had a few people suggest to me that we just kill everyone without roles, but I don't know if that's the right answer either.

Nikkari talked to Izuminokami this week. Apparently, there's some sort of ritual we have to do on the 50th day. We're on Day 35 now. We don't know what the ritual really is, but it involves a couple of items. Shoes Escha had that Nikkari now holds. That sparkly dildo...which...Nikkari also has. A jar of water, I think, some kind of necklace-looking thing--these were all drawing, so the descriptions might be off--the knife Tamamo had, and...a butt plug, believe it or not. Which I have, because Shiraishi gave it to me.

We just found out, but I'm trying to tell people now so we know not to lose these things if we come across them. A lot of them came from rooms we've broken into, so the rest are probably hidden around, too.

Yeah, I thought that as well, especially since Nikkari admitted to not being that cautious about it. Still, didn't know if there was any update since then.

Not that I know of. [Shrug.] Might've been a real heart, come to think of it. It was the wrong color to really tell but...if we need a living sacrifice that's an even bigger problem.

I don't mind being it, if that's the case, although I suppose having a role might complicate things.

I'm not taking volunteers right now. [Also the look he says is "NO?"] ...I'll keep that in mind, but you're right. The role thing might make it complicated.

That's another reason I want to talk to everyone. Maybe we'll figure out some sort of solution we haven't thought of yet.

...talked to Shiraishi yesterday. He and Hizamaru broke into a room this week and he heard a message.

"Mistrust and deceit are your enemy, you're running out of time, and we are thriving."

Wei Wuxian received a message from his role, too. "Sharing is caring and caring means escape."

They're really hitting that point home this week.

We are approaching the deadline. Day 50 is in two weeks.

Think that's even enough time to figure everything out? It's more time than I'm used to, but that doesn't mean much.

At our pace? I'm concerned.

... Though even if it weren't our deadline, we likely wouldn't be able to stay above thirteen afterwards anyway.

Even with only one body per trial, that's a guaranteed two deaths per week. We only started with thirty-three people and four of them were pulled into this bullshit in the first place. I'm surprised we've kept as many as we have right now if you really want to know.

[...urgh.] Looking at it now, maybe we should have started having this conversation with everyone sooner. But...we can try and fix it anyway.

The only way to slow it down would be for Edelgard to successfully choose a host to protect, with the full power of her role. But... that's asking for a lot.

Yeah...not real productive to quit already. Did Edelgard tell you who she chose this week?

She did.

She thinks the point is moot but it might not e such a bad pick after all with what we've been finding out about that room already.

... Yeah. To be honest, my suspicions are directed towards one of them right now. Grune seemed the least likely because she doesn't have the right weapon skills, but it's possible.

If nothing else and we can't figure out who the culprit is...

How much do we really know about Grune's skillset though? The profiles don't always mention everything. I'm not saying she's the least likely but we can't exactly discount her yet just for that either. She'd have access to all of their stuff for sure.

Plus...nobody would think of her at first at all, and you heard what Chuuya told us. Even the roles can be possessed.

She was one of the people I did some combat practice with a few weeks ago. She's no expert with weapons, unless she's been training with the others nonstop since then.

I know. I'm not discounting her. I'm just saying that relative to Higekiri or Hizamaru—but being a part of that room means she's more likely than the rest of us.
