[ He turns the safety on and then checks the ammo clip. ]

Think all the weapons are like this? It would make it hard for anyone to take it seriously in a fight...

Why would a sword--you know what, never mind. [He rubs the back of his neck in thought, watching Prompto put the gun away.]

It might be that the weapons are like that to hide there's a fight at all. If you heard something moaning around the hotel, would you go and investigate?

Haha... I don't think it's going to help me. Not that I think I'm going to need to use it or anything, but...

Um. Let's see... [ He'll tick off each finger as he thinks about it. ] Two eight shooter, a couple of SMGs, a rifle, and a bazooka. That's not even touching on the machinery.

You didn't see anywhere in the gift shop that might be storing stuff from our worlds, did you? No hidden doors, nothing?

Yeah... I'm more worried about the machinery. That stuff can do some major damage.

[ He also didn't get a look during the investigation with everything being a mess and the dick taking the show.

And he was too distracted by how cursed the gun is. ]

What machinery are you thinking? Like tanks or something? [But there's a shake of his head. It's fine that Prom doesn't know.]

I'll see if I can take a closer look myself. We were all pretty distracted last week, and most of us are still earning coins to get in in the first place.

The hell is a bio blaster? [Okay, wait.] And yeah, I have a coin, but I haven't gone to look at the shop myself. I've been getting updates from other people.

Huh. I'm glad you have a coin, but also kind of surprised it's just one.

[ Like... he thought Junpei would be getting it more? ]

Bio Blaster is this really big device that shoots out a blast or poison mist.

[He doesn't quite answer that, just canting his head curiously. Oh well. His coins are not the subject here.]

Alright, yeah, I really hope neither of those are around. They sound like they'd blow half of the ship apart. [But...hmmmm.] The gun was all you bought, right?

That's a good start. [He looks...relieved?] Hopefully we won't need to use them anytime soon, but it's good to arm yourself against whatever demon's still out there. [There's a sly grin.] And it'll help protect you and Hizamaru.

[Hizamaru is a sword who can take care of himself, but he's doing it to tease because I CAN'T BELIEVE PROMPTO IS DEAD.]

He makes a noise in response to the tease, while his face goes red. Miiiight be why he got the gun, besides wanting to impress the boy. ]

Pretty sure he can protect himself. You know, he's been staying with me or having Higekiri stay over to keep me safe.

[ That is totally a normal friend thing too right. ]

He can, but in a place like this we could all use a little extra help. [Except for Junpei. Please leave him alone. The reaction's kind of funny though.] Nothing says you guys can't protect each other.

Yeah, I'm hoping I can definitely protect him if it ever comes to it. He's not really used to being seen as equal, you know? He's used to being used. It makes him happy, but that's not really what I want to do.
