Um... Nikori showed us the list of everyone that the curse touched last week - myself and my comrades, that is. I have yet to encounter anyone with the symptoms today.
We made one on Friday but there were some names missing, I think. I don't know who else it might've touched. Maybe the demon's still picking where to go next.
[To the point though.] Nightwing spoke with the demon inside Monika. I wasn't sure if he told you.
Catra. I'm glad he gave you notes to keep until we figure out some other things. [Junpei's the one who made the chart, so he's assuming that's what Nikkari gave them.]
The demon said that it was controlling Monika for the entire week. And Nathan told us that once it's inside of us, it has access to all of our memories. That's how it hides in plain sight.
That's what the goal is this week. We try to talk to as many people as we can, and see if there are changes we can notice. By now you know some people pretty well, don't you?
It's still early, but if we're to believe what Nightwing said, the demon's already picked a host. Someone has to start acting a little differently in the next couple of days. We just have to spread ourselves out and watch closely.

Even kind people can suffer from unfortunate circumstances - war will ravage any field that is open to it, even if the villagers have done no wrong and only show generosity to others.

Still... Too much jealousy and holding onto feelings like that... It'll invite demons faster than charity.
[He thinks about Akane who was put into a circumstance that she didn't deserve. A kind, sweet girl who was pushed to take her revenge. Kindness isn't enough, but sometimes one outweighs the other just enough you can turn a blind eye. Higekiri's example makes sense, too.]

That's true... There are many endearing humans amongst all of you - I wouldn't be surprised if you all grew attached to each other in different ways, and suffered accordingly if anything were to happen to the people you hold dear.

It's probably what they're anticipating. Grief and anger are just as strong as jealousy, sometimes. [And it's not something he's happy to see being used as a motivator. Been there, done that.]
...I don't know if we really get a choice, do we? [It's not exactly an answer, but to Junpei it is.] But I won't let it stop me. Even if something happens to people here that I can't stop, my job isn't over. We're still in charge of finding who's responsible to stay ahead of the game.
[...and anyway.] I've lost people before and spent a long time doing what I had to to get them back. This isn't any different.
