Maybe the gift role then. Those seem to be personal enough. [He won't ask even if he wonders. He clears his throat.]
I'm thinking the same. I'd rather not lose anything we don't know how to use yet since it might be important later. Right now for sure it's...a pair of shoes, a knife, and a dildo. Some of the other items don't make sense. A jar of water, an artificial heart, and maybe a necklace? Hard to say.
[A little hum and a nod... The mysterious contents of this disc will remain a mystery for now.]
The pair of shoes with wheels? [HE HOPES SO.] The knife is probably the one Tamamo received, isn't it? The rest, though... Haven't heard of anyone getting any of them. In any case, that's probably something we're going to want to get the word out about as soon as possible - cut back our chances of losing anything.
Different pair of shoes, but I know where they are. Same with the knife and the dildo.
How do we spread the word without alerting our demon friends though? That's another place I get stuck. [He's 100% coming back to the other disc later don't think you're getting out of this.]
Well... That would be hard, just because there's no way of predicting who will be possessed next. Even someone who's clear one week can become a liability later... Maybe instead, we could convince our item-holders to give theirs up to one person in particular? Maybe one of our hosts could hold onto them for us.
Worth a thought. I want to talk to Polly later anyway so...I could ask her and see what she thinks. Hold them on the other side and bring them back when we're ready. I don't know if one person here could be considered safe when any of us could be next.
Mm, exactly. If we do have to hold them all on this side, we'll have to come up with some sort of lock or guard system that would give away who could possibly remove anything... Like we take turns holding the metaphoric key so the last person with it would be the obvious one to do any tampering, you know? We'd just also have to make sure it's difficult or impossible to frame the key holder.
I used to have keys to a cell in the security office, but they're gone now. [Hilariously, he finds out where they are later.] Why use a metaphoric key if we could find a real key to use? Keep it on your person and it'll be a lot harder for someone to take it from you and use it to steal stuff.
You mean like the one that was sprung on Beck? [Just. Dryly.] If we could figure out how to set it up without being obvious we can try it. I'm worried about those people being possessed and disabling the traps but that's going to be a problem no matter what we do, so we should just do it.
[LOOK... If they could hit the trap-setting demon with their own trap, that would be hilarious?? Though his expression does sour briefly at the reminder.]
It would be just desserts, you know. [It WOULD!!] Anyway, that's why we have a few! Even if they're aware some traps are in there, they wouldn't know all of them. As long as we can come up with some clever ones that it won't see coming or be able to disable all the way, that should be a good place to start.
Well we have nothing else to do, so...sure. Let's start drafting some ideas and put things together. It'll be more productive than sitting around waiting for the demon to trap us instead.

[All this shit is so complex and he is tired.]

Ah - the demons have more strength, but it still shouldn't be enough to bend metal bars, right...?

...I actually have no idea, and I'm afraid to find out. But we can assume if they can break an aquarium, they can probably try?
no subject
—Traps, then! Just in case they can break in, we could have a few people set different ones, so no singular person knows how to get past all of them.
[He just really wants to maim a demon with traps...]

[YEAHHH TRAPS!! Though he does pointedly look at whatever's left of the soup.]
After you finish eating, of course.

I'm working on it. Don't hurry a man when he's eating, dude. That's inconsiderate.

I can be even less considerate, if you'd like!
[Why does Junpei tolerate him.]

Hmm... Are you sure about that? I think we probably do!
