I only wished to have figured it out earlier without Katy-san being implicated once again. [ his poor roomie ] Izuminokami however, I'm sure will find peace with his murder solved.

He left us a really good hint. I just wish we had trusted it much sooner...but there's something unfair about having two culprits and only one of them can be banished at a time.

It seemed far too simple, did it not? Sometimes, I fear trusting our own instinct is much harder than believing another. [ he makes a bit of a face at that before sighing ] I only hope that with this extra time we can find the other culprit before it is too late...

If we keep working together something's bound to come up. This was just a reminder that we have to look closely at everything and everyone. Otherwise...we're going to miss something very obvious.

I think I can agree though. The simplest answer always feels like the wrong one, even when it's not.

To have an answer so early... We could have easily blamed Illumi within the first few hours and yet, we did not.

I do not want to set my sights on another unjustly accused or someone who was within their right again but.. Something like this, I fear as if we all simply did not see.

We can't fall into the trap of taking easy answers like that either. That's the part we have to be careful of.

Perhaps it's better to say I only wish that it had been considered.

Hm...? [ he glances at his true body, before looking at Junpei in faint curiosity ] As often as I can manage since we gained access to the deck outside.

So like daily. [Can't relate, but:] Doesn't it get harder without somebody to fight against?

Mm... in a way. Most of the time, I've only kept up with katas since there isn't particularly that many options else while. [ it gets boring fighting the same people over and over again. and not that.... it's particularly easy to up on the deck anyways........... ]

Just another weird thing about this ship. You think we get more options each week, and it turns out we're actually more limited and reminded of how much we're missing. But at least it's sort of productive.

Mm, it certainly has been quite noticeable as time continues on. There is a certain endless feeling about this whole ship [ Almost like they're stuck in a loop........? Even with the citadel as timeless as it is, feels as it is more alive than this place ]

I am glad for at least other ways to keep busy, however. I would hate for something to have happened because of it. [ it's not even the proper canon, but he sure is having probable hanamaru-eqsue chaos-in-the-citadel flashbacks right now. no one's tried singing about udon so they're all still good though. ]

We're definitely on a schedule and while that's normally not so bad, it's stagnating. It wouldn't be so bad if we were moving ahead but I'm not sure if we are.

You think it'd be so bad if everybody else had to come up with their own entertainment? [The udon song haunts me so let's hope nothing like that ever happens here.]

It is as if we should be but this place is designed so we .....would not? [ this ship is not meant for Getting Shit Done after all ]

But I feel it is more that I fear what that boredom would lead to. [ bc lets be real, his dad senses tingle at the idea ]

Something about idle hands and devil's playwork or whatever. I don't remember exactly how it goes but I think I get the concern. [He says, when he's part of the problem.] I wasn't sure if the ship was meant to control our progress but knowing it's not just me who's noticed actually helps a little.

Mm, I have. [ he's been so lax?? what a disgrace as a sword ] It certainly feels as if we are meant to forget than keep busy.

I suppose it is meant to impede our progress upon finding the truth.

Which means we're probably a lot closer to the truth than we think and they're prolonging our discovery. But...why? What would be so bad that they have to delay us getting out of here?
