That's the other weird part, isn't it? Why give us all of this luxury and downtime to wait around if the point is to kill us in the first place?

It's why I wonder if there's another part to this we don't understand yet. But what else would a demon want?

I wonder if it's a remnant from what came before the demons? [ it's the most likely scenario but ] It's also very possible we're missing something.

I never thought that demons would have their own rules. It almost gives them even more of an advantage than us if there're rules they're following and we're not.

I would imagine they have something akin to rules. [ there always is even if it is only x per week ] Perhaps not ones we would necessarily call rules but similar all the same.

You might be on to something. [But it still sucks.] You don't think there're rules we don't know about yet on our side, do you?

It's very possible. [ they were kind've thrown in with just an honestly useless guidebook ] Even our aides are still learning as they go, aren't they? I would have no doubt there are things even they are still not aware of.

All the more reason it's important for us to talk to them when we can. We don't know everything they can tell us, but maybe it'll be different.

They too seem to be bound by rules we have yet to comprehend but I'm certain we shall find the right methods eventually.
