One of the other questions I have to ask is how it's possible to affect all of us like this. Nobody else seems to really be questioning that.

[The nice thing is Junpei understands Japanese even if I don't, so all of this is mostly just bewildering for him!? THIS IS TONBO ITS HARD FOR HIM TO REMEMBER THAT HE'S LITERALLY A WEAPON. But while he's busy watching the spear slay everyone in his path, Tonbo gets this charming memory featuring someone kind of familiar. And also some death. So that's fun!]

...it's complicated. We ended up in a different history than that one, so it still happened but to a different version of myself. I guess.

I didn't think that it was possible for humans to do such... I know we are tasked with keeping history as is but to travel to an alternate.....?

Most humans can't. I only know a few people who can myself and they're all people that learned at the same time I did. But it's not exactly about keeping history the same. It's about staying alive and stopping other things.

...maybe it is the same in that sense then.

Mm... it is less of a for the sake of time itself but still important to you as a group? I can't perhaps say if that is for the better or not but.....[ the swords have all had the urge to do very similar regarding their og masters with varying success after all. he can't fault them for actually going out and trying ]

From what I have gathered, it has been quite a while since the Time Government was formed. I would not doubt if the two were related in some way because of people having learned how to go back in time.
