For once? No. [His mind is kind of empty in that regard for now, but maybe it's because he's been thinking too much otherwise.]

Think we're allowed to do that? [It's mostly a joke, but also like...are they?]

[He turns his head and gives him a Look. It's a Look that says they both know exactly who and what is stopping them and that this is the dumbest question ever.]

[He instinctively hits the pillow with his hand.]

Uh huh. You can admit it, we both really suck at this.

[He tries to reach up and push at Dick's face.]

Guess I deserve that then. [He rolls his eyes, but he turns his head to face Dick again.]

Yeah? I guess it is one way to relax.

It is, yeah. [Which is usually their default method.] There're other ways that I could be open to though. We have a whole...couple of hours before tomorrow.

[ dick leans his chin on a hand, mock-pensive ]

Yeah? What other ways are you thinking?

I don't know. This is actually kind of okay, if I'm honest. [Wow.] The movie theater isn't tainted even if the selection sucks. Beck badgered me into picking up a couple of books. I'm boycotting the arcade still but Wei Wuxian sucks at foosball and I don't.

[He's been doing dumb bullshit to entertain himself sometimes.]

If I said I liked it you'd just make fun of me so I went for the less-obvious route. Except you're making fun of me anyway so never mind. [GOD.] She got incredibly offended that I haven't read a real book since maybe high school. So I checked some stuff out to read when I can't sleep and don't feel like leaving the room.

Textbooks so don't count, dude. Beck had the right idea.

I was an Economics major, what do you want from me? I didn't really have time. [Or interest, but shh.] Anyway shut up, I brought, like, four books back. [He gestures to the side of the bed. They're apparently on the floor within reach, under the bed a little ways.]

[ he shakes his head, dramatic, because that's a very bad excuse to use on the teen superhero probably ]

Four won't make up for your years of inadequacy, but I guess I'll take it. [ he's back to teasing, at least? ]

My in--shut up. [God they both suck. All of his favorites suck so much. But he narrows his eyes almost playfully.] I already asked Beck, but you could give me recommendations and I might even listen.
