[There's a sound that's supposed to be a "thanks" but he's turning to the left and finding the shirt and pajama bottoms he'd shoved toward the bottom.

But, because everything else has already been dumb as hell, sure. May as well have this conversation. There's a sigh.]

Yeah. Her. [He'll strip out of one shirt and into the other instead of immediately turning to face him.] She's great at leaving and never coming back when she really wants to be.

... Yeah, that's not really my style. [ it sounds a lot more like artemis's sister than it does dick, but comparing a girl junpei is clearly fond of to an assassin like cheshire feels a bit. uh. wrong. just like it doesn't feel right to ask for details about something that's obviously a sensitive subject ] Mine's more of a ninja thing.

[He's taking his time to hang up his other shirt before he works on peeling off his jeans to change into pajama pants.]

Wasn't supposed to be hers either. Ninjas, however, are kind of cool. The whole mystery thing. [It's not entirely sensitive, but at the same time he's just...not sure what to say about it.] I'm almost impressed.

Hah. I'd love to see you try. [ He sounds like he's laughing but also there's a hint of "please don't" in his tone. The jeans are shed and the pajamas are slid on and the closet gets closed. He'll pick up the other pillow too.] But I guess not seeing it at all would be the point.

And also the full time job? [He just comes out and says it, heading toward the bed. Now that he's closer, Dick might notice he's walking a little slower and there's a scent of bourbon and wine from him.] I've done my share of breaking and entering but never with ninja skills. So...maybe you should teach me instead.

[ dick doesn't answer that call-out, only shrugs. he can't exactly say anything about junpei coming back drunk when dick's the one who's done it the last two times. ]

I could, but how do I make sure you're not using those skills for the bad kind of breaking and entering?

[ he's clearly teasing, though he's also. wondering if he should get junpei a glass of water before bedtime. ]

[He handles his liquor much better than most but he's still recovering from his break-in. He'll gracefully drop down on the bed though and immediately lay on his back.]

[ dick looks at junpei on the bed for a second at that before looking away. ]

[Ah. He stares at the ceiling for a moment.]

Coincidentally, out of everyone here, I trust you probably the most even if I don't tell you everything.

[ well. dick rubs at his leg a bit. ]

Everyone's allowed their secrets. [ it's pensive, and then he smiles a little when he turns to junpei ] ... Guess we match.

[He turns his head enough to look at him, curious and wondering for a moment.]

Guess so. [...] Thanks for never asking about mine. It's like I told Higekiri today. Sometimes I accidentally tell him more than I ever mean to say to anybody but that's just because he asks hard questions.

[He's not at all surprised, given that they're similar people, but he gives a low hum of agreement before looking at the ceiling again.]

You could ask me whatever you wanted now and I'd probably answer. [By not asking, Dick has earned enough trust to ask. Don't question his dumb scale of shit.] But I get it. In case you haven't noticed, I'm not great at being left in the dark either.

I like to know what's going on. What's wrong with that? [He's not even drunk shut up, he's just kind of tipsy and that happens when you're accosted and also demons try to flirt with you.]

...I talked to Chuuya, and I told Kagachi and Katy. Monday, I think I'm getting everyone together to do a mass update on what's going on. Who the roles are, what information we have, all of the items and updates about the ritual for the 50th day...get everybody on the same page.

After Katy came to me and I figured out she inherited Muzet's role, and after I realized Kagachi had no idea what I was talking about, I figured it was a good idea to try. I was thinking about doing it today after the trial but...then today turned out like it did.

[His expression looks a little clouded. He's still not entirely happy about Hizamaru, but what can be done?] So. Monday it is.

Monday. [ he hums in agreement ] How are you going to go around talking about your role?

Pretty sure most of the roles know I have a role myself. I'm not sure I'm going to have to really say much about it. [...but.] Zero yelled at me yesterday. Told me I was treating everybody like a pawn because I wasn't outright telling people I have a role, or explaining why I'm linking up the roles myself. Figured it was time to clear the air there, too, for anyone who was still wondering.
