You did what you could. You protected him in the way that was most important. But that's...sort of what I want to ask. Neither of you woke up at any point last night, did you? Prompto was in the room and everything when all of you fell asleep?
That matches what I know from Beck and Carlos last weekend. Beck slept through everything, but Carlos woke up and noticed Polly was gone. He died the same night. Like the people who're supposed to die are the ones with the power to be awake.
[...] There're two possibilities here and I don't get either one. Either Prompto put it on you himself before he left, or someone broke into your room last night and did instead. Was there something special about it?
... well, there were a number of us in the room. If he was awake, that likely meant he was going to be attacked. Others present in the room would be liabilities if they could not wake up, and more targets for a possible assailant if they somehow managed to get into our room.
[even if that is the slightly tricky part - why would prompto leave the room? he seemed like the type that was easily scared]
It makes you wonder why he left, if the only way to access the rooms is through the owners of the clamshells - who were both asleep inside.
[His brows furrow. He doesn’t like the sound of that because it meant Prompto was awake and alone. Not that he doesn’t believe in Prompto’s strength, but still...
His arm hovers there, eyes lowering to the band. He turns it with his fingers and frowns.]
I think... when he was awake, he understood. I think this was a final gift from him. It... [His brows crease a little more and he looks up quickly and drops his arm.] It was covering something he didn’t like about himself which he showed me.
Five of you, right? In a way it makes sense that he might've tried to spare you guys but...he's not reckless either. So yeah, I wonder why he left, too. Both of you had your clamshells this morning still right?
[And here he frowns a bit at Hizamaru.] ...is that something something you can tell me? I know it might not matter, but we don't know what the culprit may or may not know. So. It's best to think over everything.
I am unsure if you had seen Prompto-san’s strange marking—the one we all received. [He frowns again. Sorry, his buddy, for airing your secrets.] Prompto-san’s said... “Isn’t Human.” [He glances a second at Higekiri before looking back to Junpei.]
He said... he was made, like us. As a weapon. “Clones”? On his wrist, he had a “barcode” and a scar. This was hiding it.
I'm still going around getting information about what was found, but the answer's coming up as "not much." Doesn't exactly inspire a ton of confidence...then again, your door had the camera. [Any idiot could have seen that.
To Hizamaru's reply though he looks. Very surprised.] ...I had no idea. [Prompto looks very human?? What the hell is this about a clone? Clone-to? But that...] Someone else might've known that then. Or, someone saw it and decided they didn't like it.

[just by nature of being on alert as a warrior - he probably would've have slept at all if he had a choice]

And I was wearing this.

[he means dimitri, because what is referring to people by name]
What other pieces of evidence were found...?

It narrows down some ideas, at least.
